I have a particular issue type that, when it's resolution is set, I'd like a "Create linked issue" screen to pop - but only for that one particular issue type. All other issue types can be resolved normally.
Is this possible?
In the workflow for that issueType you can add a screen on the workflow transition for resolution such that the screen contains "Link" field, thus when the issue is transition to a certain state then the user can set both Resolution and Link it to another issue as well
Thanks for your response but just linking an issue is not what I require. I need to create an issue in another (JIRA) project that contains all the information that the JIRA Service Desk issue has. The only way to achieve this is by using the "create linked issue" method.
I'm hoping someone has figured out how to do this!
