My Org is wanting to get very granular with date tracking on an epic level. We have date custom fields created for development start, development forecasted complete, development updated complete, development actual complete. WE have a set like this for product design, tech design and development. I currently have the actual dates updated via automation when the associated epic status is progressed. One difficulty is when we make a plan for the epic we need to go and update every one of these dates. I have used the timeline view and advanced roadmaps to update at most 2 of the dates. I want to make it as easy as possible to add/update these dates. Is there anything in Jira that can help make this easier. Removing the dates isn't an option.

Yes, the intent is to be able to communicate delivery milestones to clients with increasing confidence as we get closer to completion.

@Matt Wong Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

Are you trying to forecast those dates before they actually happen?
