Planning Time at the month level (as opposed to day level)

With Tempo, it is normally possible to plan time for a user on a Project or Issue by specifying the hours per day for either

• a single day
• a range of dates (in which case the same amount of time is planned for every day)

I would need to be able to plan time at the month level (e.g. this user will spend 5 days or 40 hours on this issue/project during December 2012).

I that possible with the plugin? would it be possible by using some API / custom script?
