Hi everyone,
We have a Jira installed on AWS and plan to go to cloud.
We hve 500 users and near 50 projects.
Do you have avec feedbacks of how long does it take to migrate to the cloud ?
Also, some modules on Jira server are not in Jira SaaS (i.e. automated calculation for SLAs) : Do you have any idea of how long does it take to do a tailored module on SaaS ?
Thanks for your help !
André
Hi @[deleted]
Some good information here which might help with your planning: https://confluence.atlassian.com/cloud/migrate-from-jira-server-to-jira-cloud-972349848.html

Reach out the the vendors of apps you use in Server and say you are moving to Cloud. They may be releasing a Cloud version soon or be able to refer you to an alternative app.
Working with a Solution Partner can help with the migration and gap analysis parts of the projects. Some Solution Partners also do custom development.

Hi @[deleted]
It can take around 30m or so. May be less. First do a test migration to understand the time and what workaround you might need to do.
You will loose lot of add-on data and also some add-ons might not be even compatible with cloud so you need to be aware of those and also communicate to you users. Probably find an add-on that can do something similar.
