Plan sprints team-member workload by time-estimations

Ishai July 15, 2015

Hello ,

I have seen previous q/a's for this issue , but most of them from the beginning of 2013 and I am not sure they are no longer relevant .

We work in the current configuration :

1.We have multiple projects.

2.One backlog that contains all of them.

3.One sprint board .

4.We work with time-estimations planning rather than with story points - as a team , we are not interested in the points philosophy - SCRUM supports both time estimations and points .

We could not find a way to accumulate time workload for a team member by sprint , only per-project .

Is there please a way of doing so ?

Thank you ,

Ishai

Hi.

You should try Tempo Planner out.

https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.tempoplugin.tempo-planner

Tempo allows you to define your teams. time estimate your sprints and visualise capacity. It works on top of JIRA agile sprints or via custom iterations (time boxed collection of issues).

Takes a little effort (we're working on that) to set up at first but it should do most of what you ask.

 Hi,

I have installed tempo planner and trying it out. So from my initial observations it is used for planning purposes only. If i update estimated hours will it reflect?
