Permissions required to import CSV on Jira

Hi I am running version JIRA v6.2-OD-10-004-WN and i dont see the System option

Select Administration > System > Import & Export > External System Import

When i click on Administration i see a tree down the left hand side with issue types, however i dont see the System option.

What permissions do i require in order to upload a CSV into JIRA?

JIRA System Administrators or JIRA Administrators permissions ?

You will need System Administrator permission I think, and also check if you're not looking in the Project Administration instead of the System Administration screen - to go to the System Administration UI click on the Cog icon located in the top right corner of yor screen and select "System"

When i click on the Cog icon in the top right corner, I see Administration, Projects and Confluence.

However Administration is not selectable for me? I can only click on Projects or Confluence.

Is your user a system administrator ?

i believe I only have project permissions, that could be the reason why i dont have access to the Administrator option in the Cog?
