Is there a way to control group/user access to rapid board configuration? Where in the setup is that permission granted?

I could not find any way to allow multiple users to have permission to configure a board - just the board Owner (plus any global jira admins). Greenhopper- please change this. You should be able to set a GROUP to have permissions to configure a board, not just an individual USER. Thank you.

I heartily agree, we generally love the rapid boards, but the way they are tied to one person causes endless frustrations as there are invariably several people in a project who need to do things like manage sprints.

Only the owner of the rapidboard is able to access the configuration. Usually, this is the creator of the rapid board.

To be able to create a rapid board, the user must have the 'Create Shared Objects' global permission.

Thank you for the answer Azwandi.

That seems a bit limiting. Hopefully that changes to support a group as well as the owner. I assume you can change the owner of the board then?

Yes, you can change the owner of the board if 1) you are the owner or 2) if you are an administrator.
