Hi All

At the moment, schedule issue permission control these two actions.

  • ability to update the due date on JIRA
  • ability to modify rankings on jira-agile plan mode.

My requirement is that i want different set of people to perform eachof the acitvities above. And i am not able to do this because the underlying permission is the same which controls it.

How can i achieve this?

Hi @Rahul Aich [Nagra],

Lets consider group A as users who can only update the due date and group B as the users who can only rank.

In the below workaround you can restrict group A from ranking:

Create a copy of the Kanban board and remove the Ranking from it.

Grant group A access to it and remove their access to the original Kanban. 

In this way group A will see the Kanban and the requests but won't be able to rank the requests.
