Permission Denied error in IE

When i try to change the the status of the issue to "set to progress" or "Open" i get Permission denied error.This happens only in IE works fine in Mozilla firefox.
Script error- Permission denied .

IE version 8.

  1. Is javascript disabled on the browser?
  2. Is there any other browser plugin that you are using? If yes, disable it and then try to reproduce the problem.
  3. Is IE running on compatibility mode?
