PS Requirements Managed in JIRA (and Confluence)

Elliot Canfield July 24, 2017

Hello JIRA & Confluence users,

Our Organization is looking to collaborate with a team that uses JIRA (and Confluence) for requirement gathering, and approving directly within the environment. Our goal is to elimate anciallary external documents for imports and importing.

Would anyone out there be willing to share/discuss a model with us that has applied within the following situations:

  • uses Jira for their PS organization
  • uses Jira for requirements, design, build, test (and traceability) for client software implementations
  • use Jira collaboratively with clients
  • exports requirements and design into excel (or other format) for client review / approval if client prefers not to approve in Jira

Hello @Elliot Canfield

There are many many ways to successfully implement this product to meet all these requirements and more. I think that what you are seeking can be best sought by engaging a solutions partner to do a discovery with you to specifically tailor these needs.

Here are some resources to show some case studies.

There are just too many ways to approach this in a single question answer, but there are many success stories of this taking place in real world environments.
