PDF documents displaying via the viewpdf macro are all italicized

Peter Pollich January 1, 2013

I have written several documents in Word that I then turned into PDF files via Acrobat. I next uploaded the PDFs to Confluence 3.5, and used the viewpdf macro to have them display on the Confluence page. For some reason, these PDFs that display in Confluence have all letters and words italicized on screen. When I look at the uploaded files, they are fine. It is just the versions displaying via the macro that are all italicized.

How can I fix this issues and prevent it from happening again in the future? Thanks.

Thanks, John.

In the case of my pdf issue, the layers all render properly, as do the words - almost. For whatever reason, the font displays as italicized. In this case the font is Arial.
