Original Estimate vs Remaining Estimate

dhanya CP March 9, 2015

I created an Issue type Task for one of the projects and assigned an original estimate as 1d. On successful creation the Remaining estimate reflected the same value as is the Original i.e, 1d. Later realized that the Original estimate entry was wrong and corrected it to 2d, but the Remaining estimate still shows 1d. This gives an impression that 1d has already been spent on the task which is not the case. No work logs have been reported between the task creation and the edit.

When adjusting the Original estimate you left the Remaining as 1  day. Just Edit the issue and adjust the  Remaining estimate.

Thanks volodymyr, I assumed the remaining estimate will get its values from the original, as in creating a task.

how can you edit the original estimate? I can't edit it even though I disabled the legacy mode. Any tips?
