On-Demand JIRA and crucible integration

richard bradwell January 31, 2015

Hi,

I have read in the crucible documentation that JIRA can be used to manage the users i.e. so I don't have to re-create my users in Crucible.  Obviously Crucible is no longer on demand.  Our JIRA is on-demand however and therefore I was wondering if the On-demand JIRA instance can still manage users for the self hosted Crucible.  I was reading here and it says

"Your cloud instance cannot manage the users for server applications"

So I am assuming this is a no?

Hi Richard,

You are correct, you can't use JIRA cloud as the user management tool for any self hosted server applications. You will need a self hosted JIRA or Crowd instance in order to achieve this.

Kind Regards,

Chris
