Office Excel integration

One of the features we liked from SharePoint was Excel integration, or the ability to work on multiple tickets at once, sort, prioritize, edit back.  Does JIRA have such a feature?

Work on multiple tickets - nothing stopping someone having more than one assigned issue, or if you mean you want to make changes to many issues, there is "bulk edit"

Sort - available in the issue navigator

Prioritise - JIRA has a priority field, but if you're talking about something more like "ranking", it doesn't really do it (you don't usually rank stuff much in an issue tracker).  Until you add "Agile", which implements stuff around Scrum which very much handles ranking as part of planning.  Or "Service Desk" which automates it (indirectly) by implementing working queues

No idea what you mean by "edit back" though, sorry.  Explain and I'll have a go?

David, are you looking for something excel has like a "data view" so you can see many of your issues at once, and edit, if you have to, make comments if you want to, etc.

If that is what you are talking about you can do a filter and save it in your dashboard and do that.
