We recently upgraded to JIRA v7.1.x (hosted). In IE10 and IE11 when a user clicks on an image attachment it displays the "Ouch! We can't load the image" error. Image attachments (any attachment really) can be viewed just fine in Firefox. This is apparently a JIRA/IE issue.
I found a JIRA cloud and Confluence fix for this but neither apply here.
