Notification for JIRA watcher

Adding new user to an existing issue is not receving an email after updating issue. I mentioned watchers in notification scheme to send.

But not working

Try the notification helper. If that is not helping, check the other things mentioned on this page.

The documentation is for onDemand but it should work for downloaded version of JIRA as well

I'm not sure, but I'm guessing Aditya's question is specifically around getting an email upon being added as a watcher, which I don't think the Notification Helper deals with.
