Not receiving notifications for a particular Jira group

We have created a new group with name as " Mail group " and did the following settings.

  • Added user to that Mail group.
  • Created project role. Added user and Mail group to the newly created project role.
  • Added browse project permission to Mail group.
  • Added mail group in the Notification schema for event like issue created etc..
  • Added mail group for a project in issue security level.

Plese help me out in this.

To diagnose why a user is or is not receiving notifications for an issue:

  1. View the issue in JIRA.
  2. ClickMore Actions > Notification Helper.
  3. Enter the username of the user.
  4. ClickSubmit.
