Hi,
We need to generate effective utilization report every week, i.e total effort put by the users for aproject(which we fetch from JIRA as sum of all time spent in resolving the issues for a particular project). When we export the issues from JIRA into the excel sheet, we dont find worklog date field(the date when work was logged) and also worklog creator field(user who logged work for the issue).
We get Created date, updated date in the excel but not worklog date. Which we want.
So please let us know, what shall we do to get "worklog date" field and "worklog creator" field in the excel sheet when we export the issues from Jira.
You can't - there are (potentially) many worklogs for each issue, so you'd get many worklog dates and creators out if you could export it like that.
But you can't get it - the excel export is for issues, not worklogs. It can give you summaries, but because it's for issues, it can't go down to worklog levels.
For worklog reporting, you should be looking at the work reports on the project or have a look at the timesheeting addons available.
