Not Counting Subtasks on Rapid Board Issue Constraints

Hi,

I have several Kanban teams moving into JIRA with the new Rapidboards. One pain point we have is that many teams will count Tasks/Stories against a WIP limit and not subtasks of these, but they will still use the board to show the progress of subtasks through, the parent issue moving once all subtasks have reached a certain point, etc.

I know how to set Issue constraints for the Rapid Board but they track all tasks. I remember with the Greenhopper boards you could select a Standard Issue Type that did not count subtasks. Is there any way to use the old constraint logic with the new Rapid Boards?

i opened up a support request: https://studio.atlassian.com/browse/JST-6006

There is a Story about it in GreenHopper tracker here: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/GHS-4010
