Non working days per user in a greenhopper planning board

I am beginning to implement Jira and looking at Greenhopper. I am building a planning board, and I cannot find any reference in the documentation about how to record non working days per team member, to assist with planning a release. Unless i am reading it totally wrong non working days are applied to the entire team. Since people take days off from time to time, I would like to be able to include those absences in my sprint plan,

As a newbie I might be missing something, but is that doable?

There are plugins that deal with time tracking. You should search the plugin site since new things are added all the time.
