Non-SAML authentication path when SAML configured?

If you enable SAML authentication in Jira Cloud do 100% of logins go through SAML?

I'm looking for a side path to manually invite non-saml users into the system.

These users don't have federated accounts so I would like to invite them directly. They would also have email addresses with different domains than the domains verified as part of the SAML setup process.

Thank you,

Hello Wesley,

With SAML enabled on Cloud, only email addresses that are entered which contain the verified domain will go through SAML. All other emails entered will use the regular login process.

Please also be advised that you will need to have created the user on both your IdP platform and Cloud, since the users from IdP won't be synced to your Cloud account.

One more thing - any emails entered with the verified domain need to go through SAML, so you will want to make sure they have an entry on your IdP.

Let us know if you have any questions about this!

Kind Regards,
Shannon
