I'm using the JIRA SaaS offering with Kanban boards, and I can't choose any resolution when closing/resolving a ticket. The resolution is automatically set to "Done", even though the resolutions are listed in System->Issues->Resolutions. Specifically, I need to close a ticket with "Can't Reproduce".
Your workflow does not include a Screen on the transition(s) going into your "done" column to prompt the users for a resolution, it just sets it automatically.
Edit the workflow(s) for the project and add the resolve issue screen to those transitions.
