No Reporter field when creating an issue

Denzo July 18, 2012

When my developers create a new issue they are not able to set a reporter as the field is simply not displyed.

I would like them to be able to do that as they would then set a person who needs to check the issue once it is Resolved.

Thanks in advace.

You need to configure 2 things:

1. Make sure the Reporter field is on the Create screen

2. Give the users permission to Modify Reporter

I have done that and it still doesn't work. Very frustrating! Does anyone know a way around this?

If you've done what Jobin says, then it's hard to say what is wrong without more information.

What does your screen scheme look like? Exactly what fields have you got on the screen associated with "create"? Similarly for the permissions - what exactly have you got on the line "modify reporter"?
