Next Gen Projects - No issue collector ability?

Why was the ability to create an issue collector removed from next gen projects? This is a deal breaker for my company as we need a collector for each project.

If we will have the ability to always create classic projects, then i guess that will work. But I'm failing to see why removing that feature from next gen projects would be beneficial in any way?

Hi @Peter Gilbertson unfortunately there are many features left behind with the new Next Gen Project like the issue collector, quick filters, subtasks...

Atlassian said that this is just the beginning and they will improve the NextGen with more features in the future, cross fingers...

Upvote  for Issue collectors in New-Gen Projects - JSWCLOUD-17630

If everything is left behind with the NextGen projects, how are we supposed to move forward?

Could we please have issue collectors for next-gen projects?

I set up a new project just to use the issue collector. I second this request.

Agreed - I have done as Micky did

@Mouli I don't seem to have a way to do that.

Cannot move to next-gen without issue collectors.

Next gen should really have this. I'll have to migrate bugs from a classic project until this is added. Very surprised by this oversight, and that a list of features that aren't included weren't added to the migration documentation. It seems like something that would save a lot of people discomfort/stress.
