New tickets assigning to user but project settings are set to "Unassigned"

Martin Pendlebury November 14, 2024

Hi

I have a Jira cloud software project which has Project Settings-->Default assignee set to "Unassigned".

When I make a new ticket via the sprint board, the ticket is automatically assigned to a team member, how do I stop this from happening?

Thanks

HI @Martin Pendlebury

Check the workflow on post function on the create transition or an automation rule active on the project.

It only happens via the sprint board, when I use the "Create" button it doesn't get assigned. How do I check the post create function or script?
