New issue view performance - much slower?

Is it just me or is the new issue view much slower?

I've tried switching between the original and new issue views and the page load time definitely seems much slower in the new issue view.  

I presume this is because the new view is doing lots of fancy things?

This reduced performance is really frustrating as our operating model involves going through quite a lot of issues.

If you notice that using the new issue view has a big impact on performances I would advise to create a support request for this by using below link:

This way they can help determine if there is anything that can be done to mitigate your issue now, or if there is anything that we should take into account while working on the performance and reliability changes that are already in our roadmap:
