New(ish) sidebar content consuming TONS of page real estate. I'd like to turn it off.

I only just noticed this gigantic new space sucking sidebar and there appears to be no way to close it or hide it. It serves no purpose anyone on my team can imagine and so we'd like to have that page space back.

There is some logic to suggest this control would be hidden in admin settings but we've yet to find anything.

Can anyone help?

We currently don't have a method to completely disable the "Your Work" panel or proactively block any recommendations from appearing. This feature has been requested by other users as well, and our team is aware of the demand.
