We just added a new project and noticed none of the custome fields are avilable.
Questions:
1. Do we have add the project to all custom fields when custom field is specified by project?
2. Does using the same Screen/Fields scheme have any affect on using custom fields?
3. Any other way to bulk add the project to all custom fields instead of adding manually and reindexing?

Rahul: Check the custom field context. There is a configuration where in you can limit the visibility of custom field only to certain projects. Make sure your new project is in that list
Make sure that the screens that your new project is using has those custom fields added to it (FYI, screens connect to screen schemes and they in turn connect to issue type screen scheme and they onto projects; read documentation on this if you are not clear on this)

Rahul: No, but the custom field you want to see must be present on your screen.

Rahul: No,you need to manually go into each custom field and change the context i.e. add/modify the projects that are visible to it

Does Atlassian provide a service (pay or not) to assist customers to import JIRA projects along with adding the custom fields, custom resolution types, etc.?
