New Jira UI - Remove an Item Shortcut (12th Oct 2017)

Umer Saeed October 12, 2017

Hi

REF: https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirasoftwarecloud/introducing-your-new-jira-experience-937886012.html

I just updated to the brand new UI for Jira. I do really like it! However, 1 question.

I added an Item Shortcut to the left hand bar. How can I remove it? I only see options to ADD, not DELETE.

Thanks

From the view you currently have, there does not appear to be a way to delete that link.  But what you can do is hover your mouse cursor between this left navbar and the main page.  In my case this looks like a blue line that runs top to bottom on the page.

If you hover your cursor there, you should see your cursor change into a double black arrow  <-->, you then need to click and drag this to the right.   This will expand that menu until your page looks like this:

At that point you can then click the pencil icon for that link (google.com in my example), this lets you edit the link or remove it altogether.
