Need to use Issue Type ID instead of name for search filter to work for ZephyrForJira issue Type "Test"

Jakub Wojcik July 23, 2014

Hi,

Search on Zephyr for Jira "Test" issue Type is not working unless i use the issue type ID. Any ideas why or how i can get it working?

e.g.

project = ZTP AND issuetype = Test // Search does not return any issues

project = ZTP AND issuetype = 49 // This search returns issues, this is not a huge problem for me but for general acceptance of our jira users this would be an issue.

All help appreciated...

Hello Jakub,

Tests search supports both Issuetype name and ID, If you are not able to get results by Issuetype name then check the below

1. Whether Test Issuetype is duplicated by navigating toAdministration -> Issues -> Issue Typesand check if there is more than one TEST issuetype is present.

2. And also check the correct ID of the Test IssueType as below and it should be 49.

Administration -> Add-ons -> Zephyr for JIRA -> General Information

Also provide which version of JIRA and Zephyr for JIRA you are using.

Thanks,

Swapna Kumar Vemula.
