Need to copy backup files during JIRA 7.0.5 upgrade?

Hello,

During a recent upgrade from 6.4.9 to 6.4.12 (on a Linux Red Hat server), and following the instructions for the rapid upgrade method, several customized files needed to be manually copied to /opt-atlassian/jira-home from backup after the upgrade.  We are now upgrading to 7.0.5 using the installer found at https://www.atlassian.com/software/jira/update.  Will we again be required to copy the customized files over manually?

Hey Lucas,

                   When you Upgrade JIRA, the data directory has to be carried over manually.
