Need to convince my manager for JSU - Suite Utilities for Jira add on

I am Working on Service Desk and Software, my client doesn't have JSU - Suite Utilities for Jira, I had a project where i have to work mostly on 27 transitions for 5 statuses where i have to use post-functions, validators, conditions  and properties and add separate screens for each transitions. i have to develop script for each. Can i know the N number of JSU uses,how it works and is it one time purchase( i have seen its one time but what is we upgrade jira version) JSU so that i can convince my manager to purchase it

There is also an FAQ on server pricing. 

To convince your manager though would require you outweigh the costs with the benefits. The benefits being the use cases are where you think JSU will enhance the end user's experience. 

Questions to answer are;

• Can I automate transitions?
• Do I need automated data comparison?
• etc.

JSU will fit into your instance so long as you can align it to your needs.
