My instance isn't sending notification emails and I can't configure them in administration - any ideas?

I'm not getting an email through on issue updates or creation, but the instance can send emails. I took a look at for help but couldn't find a notifications scheme section - any ideas?

This widget could not be displayed.

Are you an administrator? Only admins can get to the notification schemes. What does the keyboard shortcut "g + g + start typing notification" do? What is under Admin -> Issues ? (That's where the main link to notification schemes should be)

I am a administrator, but have found it now - thanks. I think the help needs updating though with the info that Notifications is in Misc, not a main nav item.
