My Open Issues Results are Different between Projects and Advanced search

I am experiencing a strange issue where "My Open Issues" in Project shows results that are not scoped to the current user, but when I click Advanced Search, the results are scoped correctly and do not show the "Done" tasks.

How do I update the project "My Open Issues" filter to be the same as it appears when I click Advanced search.

what do you mean by "not scoped to the current user"? do you mean that you see issues under "My Open Issues" that have an Assignee other than yourself? If so then this isn't the default "My Open Issues" filter and you need to inspect this custom filter. If however, you mean that you are seeing Done issue in the list then I suspect that it is because the "My Open Issues" is a filter that considers "Done" to be issue w/ the Resolution of Unresolved (empty). So if you have not set the Resolution value on all issues in the Done status they still appear as open.
