I would to have different views for different projects or issuetypes or filters.

Huh? What do you want exactly?

This is with regards the issue navigator.

I would like to associate a different set of columns to be displayed based on project or for a specific task.

We need to export specific columns for stories so that it can be uplooded into our requirements management system

Hi there,

There is no way to associate a different set of columns based on project, however, there is method to do it based on the filter you have saved. You can refer to it at the below documentation:

https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Customising+your+Issue+Navigator#ConfiguringIssueTableColumns-filterChangingthecolumnconfigurationforyourownfilters

You can always save different filter for different project or even better multiple filter to a single project. To specificly generate reports of different kind.

Hope this helps, cheers :)
