Multiple select list custom field text is not displayed fully to the length of text

I am using JIRA 7.2.8

Multiple select list custom field text is not displayed fully to the length of list text in the create issue pop screen from the Backlog  section.

However it shows full length texts on the popup from the create button from the top navigation. Here are some screenshots.

Is this a bug?

Any way to fix this using configuration settings?

Hi Rashmi,

The closest I can find to what you're seeing is the bug JRASERVER-36519. I can say this is replicable in 7.2.8 up to the latest server and Cloud versions.  The OD version is not mentioned but you will see under affected versions 7.3.x is listed so there is still an on-going investigation.

At this time I would recommend reviewing JRASERVER-36519 and voting on it for impact.  Once there is an update you'll be directly notified via the bug ticket.  Hopefully that clears things up a bit.
