Monitoring nodes of a Jira Data Center instance

Issa February 2, 2016

Hi,

We have just migrated to JIRA datacenter version and are facing new challenges smile

First one we have is how to monitor a specific node (We have 6)

Previously, we were using JavaMelody which helped us finding out plugins creating performance troubles.
Now, with load balancer in front and the proxyName setting on each tomcat node, we wonder how to access a specific node and stay on it (for monitoring, troubleshooting, etc...)

Any pointers ?

Thanks a lot

Hi,
you can add a second http connector (without the proxy configuration) to the server.xml.

So you can access every node via "IP of the node":"PORT of the 2nd http connector"

Thank you Oliver. So obvious I did not think about this wink

I will test this but I am pretty sure it will work. Thanks
