Monitor for duplicate tickes

We have multiple products ... we have issue in such a way that .. same ticket is created twice in jira .. i would like to know if there are any other way to monitor my system wehether Jira has duplicate tickets

I tried this, i think 2 years ago. Not sure if it works on acutal JIRA versions.
