Modify a user's email address

Hi !

As administrator for Jira SD, Confluence, and Software, I try to change a SD and confluence user's email.

I can't do it when I try to change it from the user's profile.

I had an error message  : "Failed to change email for user gre....@pxxxxx.fr"

I check that the domain is ok. It is.

The user cannot do it himseft neither from his own profile.

Hi Magalie;

is that user in active directory in your company?

if yes; user mail can be changed by your IT team. Service desk will be synchronised automatically, also, you can synchronise it manually in User management-->User Directories

if user is a customer , could you try to close all active tickets and try to change mail again? (i am not  sure about this step)
