In JIRA, Admin, System Info there is a very useful section that shows the Modified files. However the bin/setenv.sh and conf/server.xml files don't seem to be recorded as modified files at least in JIRA 6.2.x

Atlassian, is that intentional?

I believe JIRA only picks up on modified files under the JIRA-INSTALL/atlasian-jira directory. Changes made to files under JIRA-INSTALL/bin, ../conf, etc. won't be picked up in the list. That said, it's expected that the modified files list wouldn't pick up on setenv.sh and server.xml.

Hope that helps!

Thanks. I think that added files are not shown at all
