Hello,
i'm not able to backup my hosted jira installation as needed for the on-demand version as you can see on the attached screenshot. What i'm trying to do is: i need all users, projects and issues from my hosted jira on the on-demand jira.
Can you help me to get all the informations migrated to the new on-demand jira?
Thank you
best regards
René
Finally i got it working. I upgraded my hosted jira version first, then exportet it through the export tool and copied the .zip archive into the webDAV folder. (The same as before) BUT i guess this was not the problem! I'm working on Mac OS X and copying the archive through the finder causes the .zip file to be empty (0 Bytes). It works when i copy the files through the Terminal app to the webDAV server.
Yes, i've used the export tool to create a .zip file wich contains two .xml files. Then i've moved the .zip file into the WebDAV root directory so that i'm able to restore it through the OnDemand version. But then i got the error message as seen on the screenshot above.
Yes i have.
The problem here seems, that i'm used to export through Administration > System and import through Administration > General > Jiry import.
Can this be the problem? So i have my .zip file but the OnDemand jira won't install it.
