Hi everyone,
We've made the choice to quit Redmine and migrate to Jira.
Is there any way to export all Redmine tickets, comments, dependencies and versions in order to import them into Jira Cloud ?
Thanks for your help.
Romain
Hi Romain,
Please take a look at the knowledge base article titled Importing data from Redmine:
How to import CSV data into Jira applications
To recreate issues, projects, and users, please refer to our CSV importer documentation to continue your migration process. If you don't have Jira admin permissions and the CSV importer has been enabled, you can also import CSV data into a single project. In both cases, the CSV importer will guide you through the steps of mapping fields and values and validating the data before the import.
At this time a CSV import is the method to use in order to get your data imported.
Cheers,
Branden
Hi Branden,
thanks for your quick answer. I was aware of this article. Sorry, I should have mentionned it.
I was wondering if it was the only solution available and if we can really do anything with it.
it would be ideal to find a step by step guide showing which redmine column should be mapped with which jira's one.
kind regards,
Romain

Romain, or Branden, do either of you know if this approach reference below is supported by JIRA Cloud? It doesn't appear to be.

Hi,
Most of the external system importers have been removed from Cloud when building the new infrastructure. However, 2 possible ways to import from Redmine to Jira Cloud:
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
