Migrating database

Hello

We are considering moving to JIRA onDemand service from our on premise server.

1. Can we migrate the existing database to the JIRA onDemand service? Our Atlassian JIRA version is: 4.2.4

2. We are using LDAP for user authentication. Is this feature available with OnDemand or maybe AD intergration?

Hey Steve,

1. To migrate to OnDemand, you can import data from your Installed JIRA. Since you are using JIRA 4.2.4, you would need to upgrade to at least version 4.3 because of the Changes to User Management in JIRA.
2. It is not possible to configure LDAP configuration. You can see more in OnDemand Restrictions.
