Migrate value of all issues from a custom field

Hi,

Because we intend in from now to use a specific custom field (team picker) instead of a self defined custom field, we want to migrate the values of the self defined custom field (field 1) to another custom field (team picker)( field 2),

First we have to migrate the values of field 1 into another format. For example: the value of the self defined custom field (Field 1) is "Team Blue". Because the format of the team picker field (field 2) is "The Blue Team" we have to migrate the value of the self defined custom field (field 1). Then i'd like to copy all the values of all existing issues of field 1 to field 2.

From that moment we remove field 1 and use using just field 2 Does anyone know how can i achieve this?

Hi Nicolas,

The link you referred to was very helpful, but i get several equal errors while importing. The following error appears:

Cannot add value [ [...] ] to CustomField Team in Issue with summary '': Error fetching the team with the given Team Id

It seems there is an error with the Team ID, but do you know how to map the right ID?
