Migrate confluence into jira

Rynn Wang May 11, 2015

I purchase the confluence (host version) and feel it is great. Now I am trying JIRA (also host version), but I feel confused about how can I integrate them together. I want to:

  1. Make them use same user account system.
  2. Migrate user with permission and groups into jira. (Or can JIRA use confluence user account system?)
  3. How can I change the port for web after installation. (e.g.: I want to change 8080 to 10080 for Jira)

Hello Rynn,

You can use this guide to your doubts about JIRA and Confluence.

Changing the port from JIRA and the named you added in your last comment, you will have to integrate JIRA and Confluence with Apache, this guide will also help you.

Sorry, I have to add one more question: I hosted both JIRA and Confluence in Windows 2012 R2, how to make the web portal serve like jira.host.com and confluence.host.com?
