Does RAM memory / database(/var/lib/mysql) needs to be increase along with disk space(/var local)  if we want to increase Jira memory? Attached is the screenshot of cat and df command of Jira application.

Thanks in advance!

Not necessarily, if you want to upgrade the JVM of Jira then you can do so without changing anything in the mysql configurations.

Just adjust the JVM value in /opt/atlassian/jira/bin/

Make sure the OS has enough memory to do its stuff, the rule is 50% JVM and other 50% is for the OS.
