Masking JIRA status to unauthenticated users

David Finney September 4, 2013

For all statuses other than 'Open, Resolved, and Closed', I want them to appear as 'In Progress' to unauthenticated users. Is that possible?

That wouldn't be possible without heavy development effort.

I'd also question the requirement - you're lying to the unauthenticated users. I can see a good case for saying "In Progress" meaning "Yes we know, we're looking into it" and the whole analysis/dev/build/release/test/sign-off cycle being hidden, but it's instinctively wrong to tell a user "In Progress" when you haven't even triaged it...
