Managed Share teams in JIRA portfolio not displaying all shared teams in the list

Johann Batt September 18, 2017

We've captured all our teams in the company, but when you select Portfolio -> Manage Shared Teams not all teams are available on the list.

However when you are in JIRA to select the team, the"missing teams" are available, same story in Portfolio where you can add the shared team to the plan.

Hi @Johann Batt,

Teams in Jira and teams in Portfolio for Jira are not the same objects.

This is intentional so that when you create a plan in Portfolio, you can play around with the amount of people in them, create virtual users, or create placeholder teams; which would not be possible if they were tightly coupled to Jira teams. So what you are seeing is the expected behaviour.

To learn more about how to use teams in Portfolio for Jira, have a look at the following page.

Cheers,

Hi @Allard van Helbergen

Thank you for taking the time to respond and thanks for the share.  Don't think my initial question had sufficient information to explain what We are trying to do. However, We found a display limit in JIRA and Portfolio of 50 teams.

Current workaround : Search for specific teams

Cheers
