Make project information private?

Damien Weiss November 26, 2013

I have three projects: Alpha, Bravo, and Charlie. While I'd like all developers to be able to submit bugs and feature requests to all three projects, I want only the project administrator (and maybe a manager or two) to be able to see what's going on with that request.

That being said, it would be good if the users could see the status and maybe comments of that request.

Everything I've seen has been geared towards making everything private for everyone other than devs, but that's not what I need...

Help me Atlassian, you're my only hope.

Hey Damien!

Ok, our goal is creating some permission schemes that suits you better.
We can add permission for creating issues only for your fellow devmen and make normal users only able to browse and comment.
I'll link you to some good documentation:
https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Managing+Project+Permissions#ManagingProjectPermissions-CreatingaPermissionScheme

Still, if you need any further help, just leave a comment below.

Have a g'day!
Cheers!
