When i do a test connection in the outgoing Mail Section

i have this exception appeared

AuthenticationFailedException: 535 5.7.3 Authentication unsuccessful

so what does it mean , and how can i resolve it

This error message has been generated by the mail server. It means that it has refused to send your email because it believes you don't have permission to do so.

I recommend checking the username/password you have entered in the mail server configuration page in JIRA to ensure they are correct. This should be the username and password of an account on the mail server, not your JIRA username and password.
